WHAT TYPES OF PALLET TRUCKS DOES BiGDUG OFFER?

We offer a range of pallet trucks tailored to different handling and lifting needs. From standard manual pallet trucks for general use to electric pallet trucks for moving items over longer distances in large warehouses. Our high-lift pallet trucks allow users to raise pallets to a more accessible working height, ideal for loading or unloading from elevated surfaces. Extra-wide pallet trucks can handle larger pallets, low-profile models are designed to fit under lower-clearance items, and compact pallet trucks are perfect for use in retail environments like supermarkets, where space is limited.

HOW MUCH WEIGHT CAN BiGDUG’S PALLET TRUCKS CARRY?

BiGDUG’s entry-level pallet trucks can manage loads of up to 1,000kg SWL*, making them ideal for lighter-duty applications or small businesses. For more demanding industrial environments, we offer heavy-duty models capable of lifting up to an impressive 3,000kg SWL*. These high-capacity trucks are suited for large warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centres where heavy pallets and intensive daily use are expected.

*SWL - Safe Working Load

DO YOU NEED A LICENSE FOR ELECTRIC PALLET TRUCKS?

Unlike forklifts, manual and electric pallet trucks are classified as low-risk material handling equipment and therefore require no formal license. However, employers are still legally obligated to ensure safe operation. Under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), all operators must receive adequate and appropriate training before using pallet trucks. This includes instructions on proper handling techniques, safe operating procedures, and awareness of potential hazards in the working environment.
