WHICH IS BETTER – A CORK OR FELT NOTICEBOARD?
Cork noticeboards feature a self-healing surface which closes up naturally after pins or tacks have been removed. Even after thousands of insertions, a cork noticeboard continues to provide a strong grip for lasting reliability during repeated use. A felt noticeboard is often more expensive, but is the better choice if you want a far greater colour choice for a modern and professional look. The felt layer protects the pinboard underneath to hide visible pin wear, and some felt noticeboards are compatible with Velcro too.
WHEN SHOULD I CHOOSE A LOCKABLE NOTICEBOARD?
Lockable noticeboards are recommended for sharing important announcements in any public or commercial space. They keep notices secure and clearly visible behind a hinged or sliding cover, protecting against tampering and preventing the display of unauthorised messages. Use a lockable noticeboard to display health and safety policies, evacuation procedures or other important corporate announcements.
