A Versatile Wall Mounted Shelving Kit For Every Workspace

Drop-and-lock brackets prevent accidental dislodging during everyday use
- The Shelf must first be removed and the bracket must be angled upwards to enable bracket withdrawal from the upright.
- 18mm thick wipe-clean beech or melamine shelves resÁist daily wear and tear
- A 150mm shelf overhang at each end ensures optimum load-bearing capacity
- Available in a choice of colours and finishes to suit any office style
- Not recommended for direct fixing to plasterboard or unsupported stud walls
Installation
- An upright fixing pack and shelf fixing pack is provided with kits, however these fixing packs may not be appropriate for every application.
- The strength of the installation is dependent on the strength of the fixings; it is the installer's responsibility to ensure the strength and suitability of these fixings (especially when fixing to partitions or hollow/stud walling) and that the substrate material is adequate
- Please note: it is recommended that the uprights are spaced no more than 600mm apart for optimum load capacity
BiGDUG recommend that 3" No.10 screws are used with the relevant wall plugs. We also recommend that individuals should consult a suitably qualified person to ensure that the uprights are installed correctly.
A shelf overhang of approximately 150mm should be left at each end. The type and thickness of shelf material and the application must be considered before fixing the system.

What Is Included In A Wall Mounted Shelving Kit?
Each kit includes two slotted-steel uprights, two brackets per shelf, your choice of melamine or beech shelves, plus a wall fixing pack and a shelf fixing pack, giving you everything needed to build a secure, easy-to-install storage solution for your workspace. The anti-bacterial coating makes it a practical choice for offices, retail units, and healthcare settings.
Can I Fix This Shelving System To A Plasterboard Wall?
This wall mountedshelving kit is not recommended for fixing directly to plasterboard, as the wall may not offer sufficient support for the load. For a secure installation, we recommend fixing to a solid wall or into structural studwork, and consulting a suitably qualified person to confirm the fixings and substrate are appropriate for your space.
How Much Weight Can Each Shelf Bracket Hold?
Each bracket in this wall mounted shelving kit is rated to hold up to 50kg, giving you dependable support for tools, files, stock, or equipment. For the best load-bearing performance, we recommend spacing uprights no more than 600mm apart and leaving a 150mm shelf overhang at each end. This makes the kit a reliable choice for busy workspaces handling heavier daily loads.
