What’s The Benefit Of BiGDUG’s Modular Longspan Shelving?

Modular shelving offers great flexibility, allowing you to build and expand bays to precise requirements for optimising storage space. This modular longspan shelving system’s high load capacity (4000kg UDL* per frame) makes it reliable for heavy, bulky items in industrial settings, while the choice of decking materials (chipboard, mesh, or galvanised steel) provides suitability for various environments and storage needs. The system's component form also ensures easy replacement of parts and simple customisation.

Where Can Industrial Longspan Shelving Be Used?

BiGDUG’s industrial longspan shelving system is versatile and robust, making it suitable for a wide range of commercial and industrial environments. Common applications include use in warehouses, factories, manufacturing plants, distribution centres, commercial workshops, and large retail stockrooms. It is ideal for storing heavy, bulky, or odd-shaped items that require secure, high-capacity, and easily accessible storage.

What’s The Difference Between Chipboard, Mesh, And Galvanised Levels?

Chipboard levels are the standard and most economical option for general storage in dry environments. Wire mesh decks are beneficial in damp areas or where fire safety requires sprinkler penetration and airflow. Galvanised steel panels offer superior resistance to corrosion, making them the best choice for storing items that may be oily, greasy, or require frequent cleaning.
