So, following my initial review of these lockers, I contacted BiGDUG and after taking some piccies of the 'problem' with the shelf, the supplier admitted that they had sent me the wrong item.

So, Jack, the customer service guy who dealt with my problem, was understanding and helpfullness itself. I now have the correct item on the way with apologies all round.

So, assuming that my new locker does have the adjustable shelf I am promised, then I am perfectly happy to recommend this product wholeheartedly, especially compared to some of the competition and their prices!

Good locker, but the tin doesn't do what it says in the ad....

This locker is well made with folded edges to the door and a good built-in lock. The quality of the paint finish is excellent and it looks very professional in my garage.

However, I am very disappointed that it is not as advertised; I was promised a height adjustable shelf and hanging rail and I needed this to ensure that I could get my motorcycle crash helmets in there with their opening faceplates fully open to allow them to dry and air.

Well, I suppose that if I drill out the rivets holding the shelf to the sidewalls of the locker, drill new holes where I want them, buy a pop-rivet gun and rivets and then rivet the shelf back in, then yes it might be described as height adjustable. There are slots all the way up the internal cabinet frames into which shelf brackets 'could' be affixed. I say 'could' because there are no shelf brackets supplied.

I am really disappointed with this aspect of the locker and will have to review my use of it for its intended purpose.

Not recommended if you want a height adjustable shelf!
