The Challenge
Dutypoint has become one of the leading players in fluid technology trusted by clients both in the UK and overseas. The key support they needed was on a mezzanine floor that needed to include benches and shelving that would work with a pick and assemble operation and BiGDUG was tasked with devising a solution to achieve this. Just one of the key challenges of designing a solution was that the majority of components were reasonably small and medium sized and the Dutypoint had never done this assembly themselves before.
The Solution
The BiGDUG solution was to specify off the shelf pallet racking, shelving, benches and assembly trolleys but they were designed to work together. Each row of pallet racking had different specifications as the pallets coming in and going out are very different.
