Make space for bikes without compromising on style or practicality. The Hamble Cycle Shelter combines a contemporary curved design with a tough, weather-resistant construction to provide reliable cycle storage for schools, workplaces, commercial sites and public spaces. With a choice of finishes, optional side panels and a fully modular design, the Hamble can be configured to suit your space and expanded as your cycle storage needs grow.

  • The shelters are manufactured from hot-dipped galvanised steel to BS EN ISO 1461 and are available in galvanised, black, blue, green or red polyester powder-coated finishes.
  • UV-resistant PETG cladding is fitted as standard, while optional side panels provide additional protection from wind and rain.
  • Each shelter is designed to provide secure storage for either 10 or 20 bicycles and includes 5 or 10 standard Sheffield cycle stands, depending on the chosen capacity.
  • The cycle stands are manufactured from 3.2 mm x 50 mm mild steel tube, with each stand measuring 750 mm high and positioned at 800 mm centres.
  • The fully modular design allows shelters to be installed in line or facing formations, making it easy to maximise the available space.
  • Additional shelters can be added to an existing formation, allowing cycle storage capacity to increase as requirements change.
  • All bolts are galvanised and internally fixed using captive nuts to provide secure and discreet fixings.
  • The cycle stands are manufactured from 3.2 mm x 50 mm mild steel tube to provide a strong and durable parking solution.
  • Fully modular so can accommodate any number of cycles where space allows
  • End panel cladding is not included and sold separately
  • Please note shelter will come in kit format flat packed on a pallet with all fixings supplied

Cycle Shelter Information & Options

Delivery/Supply only:
Shelters are supplied as standard, flat packed and on a pallet. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to offload all products and packaging from delivery vehicle. The delivery costs are based on good site access and all size vehicles up to Articulated Lorries being able to enter the site and offload.

Delivery & Installation:
If you would prefer the cycle shelter to be installed by BiGDUG then please call us for a price. We would need a few more details with regards to the ground surface we are installing onto, and then we can provide a quote based upon your requirements. All of our installation team are CRB checked and adhere to current HSE regulations when working. The delivery costs are based on good site access and all size vehicles up to Articulated Lorries being able to enter the site and offload.

Site Visits:
If you would like a member of the BiGDUG team to visit you at your site, to discuss your needs then please call us. Site visits are completely free of charge and we can help you make the right choice with regards to product and placement of that product. At the same time we will also assess the proposed site to make sure it is suitable for installation.

End Panels:
Please note that perspex end panels are not included and are an optional extra. End panels are available for the Hamble and the Wheelsby shelters only.

Polyester Powder Coating:
We offer a range of colour options should you require your product to be polyester powder coated. Our range includes Black, Blue, Green and Red. (Please see RAL codes below) Other colours are available, please call us to discuss as a surcharge may occur.
