Our Wall Mounted Shelving Kits combine adjustability with strength and versatility. All brackets and uprights are manufactured from premium-grade steel with an anti-bacterial coating - ensuring that these kits are suitable for both normal use and for use in environments requiring stringent standards of hygiene (education, medical, healthcare and industry).
Our twin slot kits are perfect for use in classrooms, storerooms, offices, showrooms, shops, hospitals, colleges, health centres and office developments. Our extensive range is simple, strong and the versatile.
Complete shelving kits include: 2 slotted-steel uprights, 2 brackets per shelf, melamine or beech shelves, a wall fixing pack and a shelf fixing pack. We currently offer shelving kits in white and black with melamine or beech shelves.
- Simple, practical and adaptable wall-mounted storage

- The 270mm bracket withstands loads up to 69kg
- A shelf overhang of 150mm is recommended for optimum shelf capacity
- 18mm thick wipe-clean beech or melamine shelves
- Not recommended for fixing to plasterboard walls
Safety Protection Feature
- Drop-and-lock bracket design prevents the bracket from accidently being dislodged during use
- The Shelf must first be removed and the bracket must be angled upwards to enable bracket withdrawal from the upright.
Installation
- An upright fixing pack and shelf fixing pack is provided with kits, however these fixing packs may not be appropriate for every application.
- The strength of the installation is dependent on the strength of the fixings; it is the installer's responsibility to ensure the strength and suitability of these fixings (especially when fixing to partitions or hollow/stud walling) and that the substrate material is adequate
- Please note: it is recommended that the uprights are spaced no more than 600mm apart for optimum load capacity
BiGDUG recommend that 3" No.10 screws are used with the relevant wall plugs. We also recommend that individuals should consult a suitably qualified person to ensure that the uprights are installed correctly.
A shelf overhang of approximately 150mm should be left at each end. The type and thickness of shelf material and the application must be considered before fixing the system.
