Saveco Environmental moved into their Tewkesbury warehouse in 2023 and BiGDUG helped them to design and build their existing pallet racking as well as supplying new pallet racking enabling Saveco to expand their storage capacity at the new premises. BiGDUG were approached again to try and find a smart solution for storing awkward-sized machinery held on pallets taking into consideration forklift truck height limitations (Max 4000mm).

The BiGDUG smart storage solution included a mix of double deep pallet racking and several bays of cantilever racking. Using cantilever racking as part of the solution ensured that the highest arm level was low enough (3900mm) for the forklift truck to reach the fourth pallet on the racking with enough clearance between the top of the machinery to the underside of the arms below.

For Saveco Environmental, the complete solution including the cantilever racking was delivered and installed within a short space of time.
