BiGDUG supplied a complete storage solution that would not only meet NeilMed’s current logistic and distribution demands but would also enable them to grow and expand in their new warehouse facilities.
NeilMed is a world leader in large volume and low-pressure saline nasal irrigation. The company has over 500 employees and supplies millions of products to end users through various trade channels. The Challenge
NeilMed had outgrown their current warehouse and taken on a new warehouse in Croydon that would better meet their increasing storage needs. BiGDUG were called in to help design and plan a suitable pallet racking system making best use of the available storage space at their new warehouse.
The Solution
BiGDUG carried out a detailed site survey to better understand how NeilMed intended to use the warehouse space. After several site visits a personalised plan and drawing was created for NeilMed that showed the optimum solution for extensive palletised storage. The solution consisted of the supply and installation of 60 bays of pallet racking that could store 486 pallets in total. As part of the solution BiGDUG supplied and installed pallet racking with timber decks, anti-collapse mesh safety screen and frame leg protectors.
