How Do I Calculate How Many Gym Floor Tiles I Need?
The number of tiles you need to cover your gym floor will depend on the surface area available. To facilitate the process, our floor tile calculator can do the job for you – simply enter the dimensions of your floor (width and length) in mm or inches, and the calculator will work out how many tiles you need, with an optional 10% waste allowance.
Can This Heavy-Duty Gym Flooring Be Used In Home Gyms?
BiGDUG’s heavy-duty floor tiles are versatile enough for use in various environments, from leisure centres to commercial and home gyms. However, these gym floor tiles are designed to withstand the heavy foot traffic of public environments, which may be unnecessary for a home gym. We recommend browsing our garage flooring range featuring interlocking tiles, which offer slightly more flexibility in domestic settings, should you need to remove or rearrange the flooring.
How Durable Are BiGDUG’s Rubber Gym Floor Tiles?
Our heavy-duty gym flooring is manufactured with a 2-layer system featuring coarse granules at the bottom and 5mm fine granules at the top. This ensures a thick, durable floor that provides shock absorption, sound insulation, and a non-slip surface. BiGDUG’s gym floor tiles are suitable for medium-weight dumbbell areas and are designed to withstand regular use.
