Our BiG800 racking is the Goliath of our industrial range, an impeccable solution for demanding commercial environments where safety is paramount. Available with three different shelf options, this 3050mm high racking is manufactured from profiled, premium-grade steel and designed for intensive manual loading and larger-sized load applications. It can safely hold up to 625kg UDL* per shelf, allowing a total load of up to 2500kg UDL* per bay, making it perfect for warehouses, factories, and stockrooms.

Can I Add Extra Shelf Levels to This Heavy Duty Racking?
Our BiG800 heavy-duty racking is designed to be adapted to your liking. You can readjust and add shelf levels according to your storage needs to suit various types of equipment, stock, or materials. Opt for chipboard levels if you need a sturdy surface to store dry goods or general-purpose storage. Meanwhile, melamine shelves are great for dust-free storage areas as they’re easy to wipe clean and steel levels are moisture resistant and more hygienic, ideal for food storage. Please note that adding extra levels can affect the shelf load capacity; contact us for further advice if unsure.
Is BiG800 Four-Level Racking Easy to Assemble?
As with most of BiGDUG’s high-quality racking, this heavy-duty 4-level racking is easy to assemble. You’ll need a rubber assembly mallet to tap the pieces into place–no tools, no fuss, and no time taken out of operations. For extra security, especially in high-traffic work environments, use wall fixings or floor fixings with levelling plates (sold separately) to keep your racking system secure and merchandise safe from collisions.
How Can I Customise this BiG800 Heavy Duty Racking System?
This heavy-duty racking system can be customised to suit the storage needs of various work environments. Depending on the space you have, choose a different width and depth, pick a suitable shelving material to store your equipment properly, and expand your racking. Using tie plates (sold separately), join multiple bays together to create a continuous storage solution.
