BiGDUG’s BiG400 Blue Galvanised Workbench is a versatile and robust solution constructed from premium-grade, galvanised steel, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial settings, including factories, workshops, and garages. Designed for easy, boltless assembly, this workbench features simple shelf adjustments and is engineered to handle substantial loads, supporting up to 400kg UDL* on both the worktop and the lower shelf.

Should I Choose A Chipboard Or Melamine Worktop?

While both of our worktop options are sturdy and hardwearing enough for heavy-duty use, whichever material you choose depends on the application. Chipboard worktops are an economical and robust choice, offering good general-purpose performance for dry environments, while melamine worktops provide a superior, smooth, wipe-clean surface that is ideal for handling moisture and chemicals, making it better suited for more demanding or wet industrial applications.

Which Shelving Configuration Is Best For Me?

The full-depth lower shelf provides maximum storage capacity and surface area, ideal for large tools, equipment, or packing material, while the half-depth lower shelf is suitable if you need storage space but also require foot clearance or access to equipment placed beneath the bench. Alternatively, the T-bar base provides structural stability while leaving the maximum amount of open space below the bench, perfect for users who require leg room or storage of very tall items or waste bins.

What Accessories Can Enhance Usage Of This Industrial Workbench?
