Euro Containers are designed to fit Euro pallets and to comply with Euro-standard capacities and dimensions. Our Euro Containers comply fully with these standards and also benefit from being manufactured from a particularly robust, food-grade polypropylene. They are therefore ideal for intensive industrial applications and any commercial environment in which modular capacities and secure stacking are a crucial part of the distribution process.
The smooth, sealed surfaces of the Euro Containers prevent the accumulation of dirt and dust and allow repeated washing and steam-cleaning. Integral handles and straight-sided walls also maximise internal capacity and secure stacking. The stackable Euro Box, for example, is available in 3 sizes/capacities and, with no sharp edges, encourages safe handling and minimises handling risks. It is available from stock with either an attached lid, a sit-on lid or with ventilated sides and base.
An alternative Euro-standard container with a fixed lid is the Attached Lid Container. The hinged, interlocking lid cannot be separated or lost from the Container but still allows full stacking and nesting capability. Available in a choice of colours and capacities, any contents loss can be minimised with the use of Tamper Evident Security Seals.
Designed specifically for stacking, the industry-standard Euro Stacking Boxes are a popular distribution choice because of their heavy duty construction and compatibility with conveyor systems. In contrast, our Folding Euro Container folds flat when not in use to minimise storage and transportation costs and, like all of our Euro containers, is impervious to moisture and many acids and alkalis.
The Ventilated Euro Stacking Containers are similarly impervious to moisture and also benefit from a ventilated construction. This means that any stored products will benefit from air flow cooling. The design also helps to maintain a constant product temperature during transit and storage and so the containers are ideal for fridges and freezers.
For stacking and nesting simplicity, the Maxinest Container’s use a two-colour design to identify loading positions and will therefore prevent contents from being crushed through incorrect stacking. They are particularly popular in high-throughput distribution centres where their distinctive colour helps to speed up the handling process. Similarly task-focussed are our Euro-standard Confectionery Trays and ventilated Bale Arm Containers, both of which are used for the storage and distribution of specific food products.
Euro Stacking Pick Bin Columns combine the regulated dimensions and capacities of the Euro Containers with a commercial picking opening. Both designs are available with front or side openings and can be used as a stand-alone feature or added to other bins to build a picking pod, column or wall. The simple, modular design of the bins means that they lock securely together and that the overall storage capacity can either be increased or reduced through simply adding or removing bins. The versatile bins are therefore ideal for working areas where the preferred location of storage changes frequently or where overall storage capacities fluctuate.
Similarly versatile are our Euro Box Kits in which we combine BiG series shelving with custom-fitting Euro Containers at a great value price. The kits are designed for use in warehouses, factories, storerooms and light industrial units but, with the supplied Containers have been manufactured from food-grade polypropylene, are equally suitable for use in smaller commercial settings and retail outlets. The Euro Box Kits are available in 3 widths (915, 1220 and 1525mm) and a variety of Euro Box combinations.
The vast majority of our Euro Containers and Boxes are held in stock and therefore eligible for our Next Day delivery service. Buying in bulk from BiGDUG also secures even bigger discounts on our market-matching prices
