I purchased these tiles to cover a 60m2 workshop floor. The process of fitting was straightforward, with the whole process taking about a day to complete. This was aided by the use of a bandsaw to cut the edge pieces.
I never noticed in the description of the product that the tiles were not actually solid, but hollow underneath. They seem plenty strong enough to cope with any weight bearing requirements (my tractor has been over the floor a few times with no impact) but it does leave the floor with a slightly hollow sound when you walk on it - not unlike laminate flooring.
The other issue I found was in actually getting the interlocking elements to sit flush with each other. Despite having a flat and level floor I found that some of the tile edges would sit fractionally higher than others despite a good thump with a mallet. I'm only taking about fractions of a millimetre, but it is noticeable to a fussy sod like me. That said, most do seem to have settled over a few days now (either that, or I've got used to them).
All in all a nice product. Goods arrived quickly, BigDug were helpful in sorting out the return of excess tiles. Would recommend to others.

Ordered about 50 square meters of this for a small wood shop. Easy to lay (and re-position if needed) and seems fairly hard wearing so far. The customer service has been spot on and I will certainly be recommending and using Big dug again myself.

Fantastic Result!

I recently built a 4m X 3m log cabin for use as a workshop. I laid a concrete floor with a damp proof membrane and 100mm of insulation.

Unfortunately my final screed wasn't as smooth as I would have liked so I ordered the interlocking floor tiles mainly for aesthetic purposes.

The customer service department were very helpful with their advice regarding the suitability of the tiles for my specific purposes e.g. load bearing capability and durability etc.

The tiles were delivered promptly and I was able to lay them in a matter of a few hours. I did not order any edging tiles as I had intended to lay them up to the walls of the cabin, leaving an expansion gap, although I didn't know if this was necessary. As per the instructions I used a jigsaw to cut the perimeter tiles to size. The result is that I now have a fantastic looking durable floor in my workshop.

One further unexpected benefit that I have noticed, is that I no longer get condensation forming on the underside of the roof of my workshop,so I am more than pleased.

I fitted these in my garage and am delighted with them. They look professional, are easy to fit and take the weight of a heavy 4x4 with ease and no indentations. Two issues. The tiles have male connectors on one side and female connectors on the opposite side. So if you have a male ramped edge on one end and you want a ramped edge on the opposite end you will need a female ramped edge (but different if you want a ramped edge on one end and then a ramped edge on the side). Check carefully (look at the photo of the tile and think what you are going to do)before you order. Whilst small fiddly pieces can be cut from the tiles using a Stanley knife - in order to cut a tile in half I needed to use a woodsaw (which went through easily).

Bought this to protect the marble tile floor in the garage of a rental property (Why you'd put marble tile in a garage still escapes me). It currently has 260kg of motorcycle on a stand resting on it with no discernible marking to the tile underneath. Very easy to lay.

After being dug up to install a waste pipe, my garage floor looked tatty. All attempts over the years to smarten it up (garage floor paint, skimming) only seemed to make things worse. The floor was always dusty - a problem when transferring wet washing into the tumble dryer when items always landed on the floor. Two days after laying the tiles, I had a new tumble dryer delivered and the delivery man - unprompted - said he thought the floor looked very smart. Perfectionists may moan about the slightly unsightly bit at the centre of each tile, but it's no real problem.

Disappointed with the surface finish of this product which has at its centre a partial hole used in the manufacturing process. Customer service pointed me to a photograph on the web site which if you zoom in and were looking for such a blemish you might see. There is no written description clearly pointing out this manufacturing blemish. I was going to spend a lot more money in kitting out my garage with company but I don't feel I can trust buying from the website.

Used these tiles to cover concrete floor in garage. Easier to keep clean, reduced dust dramatically and made the boss happy as washing machine etc located in garage and the floor is now cleaner and warmer under foot.
I did buy a Dremel cutter for the job and found cutting tiles very easy - even in awkward corners. My only criticism is that there could be better instructions, my advice - clear the room as far as possible and start from the centre of the room. If a garage count back complete tiles from the door so you can fit bevelled edges. can be hard on knees but I found working from the centre of the room mostly I could just stamp the joins together with my foot. Make sure you have a rubber headed mallet to tap into place, and the key to everything is to make sure you identify the corner with the arrow for orientation of the tile and to make sure you cut tiles correctly. I made a few errors but if I had known the above before I started I would have made many less or none at all. Results are fantastic.

If you have a square or rectangular place to floor, these tiles are very good. If,however, your place has nooks and crannies, you're knackered,as these are real ba****ds to cut. After loosing a few tiles to trial and error,I discovered the ideal way to cut them.Use a hack-saw,or a universal wood saw. The ramped edging helps a lot,but again, not if you've got an irregularly shaped room. One of the things I found out,(quite by accident, and perhaps not REALLY important, but it matters to me at the moment),is that it's REALLY,REALLY uncomfortable to sit on. On the plus side,my workshop looks real nice, clean and professional. My neighbour hates it,cause now he has to 'up his game',his garage is no longer 'top dog' HA-HA-HAR,In yer face,Tom !!

Love these.!!!! Gives my workshop a real pro finish. Allow yourself a 5-10% extra for un-expected details. These tiles can be a real pain to cut.I found a regular metal hacksaw to give best results.

Prompt delivery, good quality product at a good price, and my garage now looks fantastic. Very happy customer! I found a Stanley knife gave a better cut compared to a jigsaw, although I reckon a Dremel multifoil would be good for the job too (if I had one!).

Delivery was a day early, and the driver said he wouldn't have come back the next day. He was very unhelpful and I hope I don't have to see him again. Luckily for us, we were just walking the dogs and a neighbour intervened. The product however is great, and as it's flexible, floats over the bumps in the garage floor. I think the instructions / product video should mention the tiles are 470mm centres, rather than 495 x 495mm.

Just finished laying the Vinyl floor tiles in my garage. Doddle to fit, great quality, easy to cut (with a grinder)and looks awesome. Two of my mates are getting them now they've seen mine. Even the returns service is first rate, took my spare edging and tiles back, no questions asked, the day after I rang. All in all, 10/10 for product and service.

This flooring is so easy to lay and cut and we even found that with a little heat, it will mould into areas have a slight difference in height. Thought we would have had to lay some self levelling compound, but no, a little gentle heat and that was it. The heat from the sun made us think that this was possible as this made the tile very supple and when cooled remained in the same position

Highly recommend this product. I bought it to floor my single garage to cover the concrete. Easy to put down and goes down quick. I cut the edges using a steel rule and Stanley knife, just score it with a few passes until the blade bites, then a few more passes with deeper cuts. They're quite tough, but I found doing it this way and taking a bit more time gave me cleaner cuts and nicer edges. The hardest part was clearing the garage out but I got the whole thing done over a weekend. There is a small imperfection in the centre of the tiles where they're moulded but it's not a problem and the floor looks much better now. If you look closely on the pictures you will see it. The calculator was also bang on for me. The only downside was the delivery cost me about £40, but for an extra ~£4 I got next day. Thanks!
