Do you have a catalogue?
Yes. Although our website lists our full range of products, we also offer a hard copy for customers to refer to in their own time. Just click on Brochure Request and order your copy today..

Your prices appear to be a lot cheaper than other sellers in the market. How do you manage this?
At BIGDUG we buy our shelving in bulk so we can pass on the savings to our customers. We also offer bulk discounts for bigger orders. This enables us to offer the best value on the market.

How do I know the shelving can take the weight it claims to?
Most of our shelving has been independently tested to the international TÜVGS weight assurance standard. In fact, most of our shelving can carry a lot more than we state. Please click here to read more about TÜVGS and what it means.

Can I purchase additional shelves on their own for any unit?
You can only purchase additional shelving levels with the MAX range as all our other shelving comes flat packed and we are unable to split packs up. If you need several extra shelving levels then we recommend purchasing an additional complete bay and use what you need.

Do you sell Longspan Shelving?
Yes, you can view our new range of MAX1 Longspan Shelving and workbenches online or request a catalogue..

Delivery

Is shipping expensive?
Our products are bulky and heavy and are therefore relatively expensive to ship with couriers. However, we charge out carriage as competitively as possible.

Do you deliver on Saturdays?
Yes, at an extra charge of £25 (this is added onto the normal carriage charge). Cut off order time for a Saturday delivery is 10am on Friday. Please note that this service is only available by calling Customer Services on 08450 654 000.

How long does delivery usually take?
Typically, delivery takes 3-5 working days for in-stock items, from the time of your order or funds being cleared, although it can be quicker than this. An email will be sent to inform you of the despatch of your goods and the due delivery date.

Does BiGDUG deliver to homes as well as businesses?
Yes, but someone needs to be there to sign for it. In the event that you are not there to receive the goods, a calling card will be left by the courier with details of how to arrange a redelivery.

Can BiGDUG give an actual time of delivery?
Owing to the nature of courier deliveries we are unfortunately unable to give a time of delivery. Drivers’ schedules can change at any point during the day due to traffic or other circumstances out of their control.

Are deliveries to Ireland (North & South), Channel Islands, Shetlands, and non-mainland areas possible?
Yes. Carriage prices will be quoted on a case by case basis in order to keep the cost competitive for you. Please email details of all the items you require to sales@bigdug.co.uk with your address and postcode and we will get straight back to you with further details.

What if some items are missing from my delivery?
Thankfully this happens very rarely, but if you do find a mallet , bay connectors or other items are missing, please call us on 08450 654 000 quoting your invoice/despatch reference (from the paperwork supplied with goods) and we will ensure any missing items get shipped out to you within 24 hours (Mon-Fri only).

What if I seem to be missing the steelwork from my order?
Please check inside the package for the steel uprights. On some of our shelving bays the steelwork is contained inside the pack along with the chipboard. On other bays the chipboard and steel components will come in individual packs. So please do a thorough check first before calling us.

Collection

Can I collect my order?
Yes, please call 08450 654 000 or email sales@bigdug.co.uk with details of when you wish to pick up your order. Please give 24 hours notice.

Payment

Do I have to pay by credit/debit card?
No, we can accept cheques, BACS, CHAPS or Paypal. Please call 08450 654 000 for further details.

Can I have a proforma invoice?
Yes, please email your order details to sales@bigdug.co.uk and we will raise a proforma invoice and email/fax it back to you.

Will I receive a VAT invoice?
Yes, we will include a VAT invoice with the goods. For a copy invoice, please contact our Customer Services on 08450 654000 or email sales@bigdug.co.uk with details of your order.

Can I have an account?
No, we don’t offer accounts at present - all orders are prepayment only.

Can you quote me a price before I order?
Yes, please send details of your requirements to sales@bigdug.co.uk and we will send you a quotation. Remember, the more you order, the bigger the discounts you can receive.

Do you have a Representative who can come and see me?
All of our products are very straightforward and easy to pick off the page and therefore we do not have representatives.
